We’re pet owners ourselves – here at Farmhouse HQ we have Ginni the labrador, Hayley the border collie, Marsha the kelpie/malamute, and Percy the black cat. No treat reaches our shelf without their approval.

From our Farmhouse team – Andrew, Hanna, Niamh, Mia, Alivia, and Chloe – we’re so grateful to each and every one of our customers (and your pets!) for choosing our 100% Australian Farmhouse Pet Treats!

  • Christmas deadlines

We ship almost exclusively with Australia Post, which has advised of shipping times. When factoring in our rural location, please note the following Christmas order deadlines:

    * Parcel Post: Friday 15 December
    * Express Post: Tuesday 19 December

Please place your orders ahead of these dates to ensure a good chance of delivery prior to Christmas.

For those in Canberra who might run late, we’ll be at the Capital Region Farmers Market, Canberra on Sat 23 December.

  • Suspicious transactions

The joys of small business with a strong online sales channel!

Over the past week, our payment processor, Square, has alerted us to numerous potentially fraudulent purchase attempts. These are all new customers with large orders, requesting express post.

From today on, we will attempt to phone or email the customer to verify any transaction that looks out of the ordinary or that Square flags with us.

If we can’t verify, we will cancel these orders and issue a refund (so the $ get back to the rightful owner). The cancellation note says “Please contact us if this was a genuine purchase”, and if it is, we’ll sort it out ASAP.

All details of fraudulent transactions are reported to authorities. This takes up more of our time, but we need to ensure we act with integrity at all times.

    Thanks for your understanding
    Andrew.

  • 4-5 February – Canberra markets

We have a bumper weekend planned in Canberra!

Saturday 7am to 11am – Canberra Region Farmers Market at EPIC.

Sunday 10am to 3pm – Hartley Hall Markets at Hall ACT – plus we’ll be giving away FREE TREATS! With every bag of treats sold we’ll give away one of our baked fancy treats (fairy bread, love hearts, doggy vovos, and more). This is only ‘while stocks last’, so once we’re out of the freebies it’ll be back to $2.50 each.
